Matt’s professional career has taken him to all sides of the insurance industry including Fraud Control, Workers Compensation, Property & Casualty and currently as an agent for Gunn-Mowery, LLC. Since starting at Gunn-Mowery in 2013, Matt has earned his CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent), CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and AINS (Associates in General Insurance) designations. Matt and involvement go hand in hand. He graduated in the 2016 Class of Leadership Harrisburg, was honored as one of the 2016 Forty Under 40 recipients by the Central Penn Business Journal and was in the 2018 class of 10 New Leaders by Executive Business Coach, John Dame. 

Matt is a member of Gunn-Mowery’s Upside of Giving committee, which volunteers with numerous organizations throughout the year. In the community, Matt serves on the Board of Governors at West Shore Country Club, the Patient Safety Committee for Helen Simpson Rehab Hospital, a volunteer for Tied to Success , The United Way of the Capital Region and Hospice of Central PA. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Longwood University in Virginia. When not working on your policy, Matt can be found at Wegmans or Target with his wife and 2 kids, or coaching youth soccer for Eagle FC. He occasionally has the chance to play a little golf, ski or enjoy other outdoor sports.
